A few days have passed since the last letter to you. Now the time has finally come for the most recently announced products to find their way into the shop. Only the windshields are still not as far as I would like. In the meantime, I have received the data from the measurement laboratory and started developing it. Unfortunately, this task is not as trivial as I had imagined it to be and I still have a lot to learn about it. Contrary to the announcements, developments for steam, diesel and electric locomotives have occurred at short notice, which I do not want to withhold from you under any circumstances. Set of shunting steps and steps<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Gauge 01 Modellbahnen had recently delivered the new cars of the classes Klmmgks\/Tbes\/Tbis 066. The cars have become very nice, but have one drawback \u2013 the manoeuvring steps and steps don't really want to please... For this reason, I had taken a look at a new development with a Set of shunting steps and steps<\/span><\/a> whose first test version was presented at the Gauge 1 trade fair in Ampflwang (AT) and was \ud83d\ude0a immediately well received. Now some small improvements followed and the set is now available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set of gratings for climbing steps<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The six in the set included gratings for climbing steps<\/span><\/a> to the driver's cab are placed on the steps after the colour treatment without further adjustment work and fastened with an adhesive of the choice. This and, if necessary, at the same time as the manoeuvring steps available in the shop, brings the model incredibly close to the original with minimal effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Westinghouse Driver's Brake Valve<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Model of the Westinghouse Driver's Brake Valve WF2\/WR1<\/span><\/a> is the first upcoming design detail for the interior design of driver's cabs. This FbrV was installed in many locomotives of the V100 series. However, it was also used in other model series and is therefore not limited to these. Other parts for the interior design will follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the last letter Front steps for the BR 218<\/span><\/a> were announced, the Set of front circulation gratings and \ngratings for access steps BR 218<\/span><\/a> the next logical step. As well as the gratings for climbing steps to the driver's cab<\/span><\/a> the parts are only placed on existing areas and fixed after a colour treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complete the fronts of the 218 series of add-on parts, there is now the Set push-pull train control and train busbar BR 218<\/span><\/a>. These accessories are all exactly based on the original and adapted to the existing square recesses of the M\u00e4rklin parts. The only difference - since old parts like to break out and the tenons have to be drilled out, the tenons in this set are round with a diameter of 1.5mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ce 6\/8 II series \u2013 the Swiss crocodile \u2013 from M\u00e4rklin also receives new parts, front steps with filigree steps<\/span><\/a>. Approached at the module meeting in Halver by Wolfgang Brinkmann about the lack of spare parts, the promotion steps were developed relatively quickly and thankfully also tested by Mr. Brinkmann and found \ud83d\ude0a to be good. I would like to thank Mr. Brinkmann very much for his support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the friends of realistic top lighting on your locomotives, further designs have been added to the program. DRG lanterns in short version attached to a sheet metal bracket<\/span><\/a>, Prussian Kerosene Lanterns<\/span><\/a> in many different versions as well as Bundesbahn lanterns with Hella scattered light glasses<\/span><\/a> in different versions .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to streamline the shop with all its products, all lanterns, unless they are vehicle-specific, have now been moved to the lighting category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set Tail Light H\u00fcbner B4yg<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Now I was also approached about this, because these small parts are often lost. In addition, the red glass of the manufacturer's parts is much too bright. The Set Tail Light H\u00fcbner B4yg<\/span><\/a> consists of four dark red laser-cut discs made of precision acrylic glass with a thickness of 0.5 mm and a replica 3D-printed rubber seal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which owner of older models from M\u00e4rklin does not know this problem? Older vehicles have been exposed to sunlight for a longer period of time, the windows yellow to the point of opacity. In addition to panes for the V100 and the BR 218, Montaperti Modelltechnik will in future be offering replacement panes in laser-cut precision acrylic glass in 0.5 mm thickness for a wide variety of models. If it serves the prototype, frames or sealing rubbers are also developed for this purpose. As a further window replacement, a Set with all windows available for the Prussian T3<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Layout Accessories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As announced in the last letter, a new category will also be included in the program. Model railway enthusiasts who were present at the fair in Ampflwang (AT) were already able to enjoy a small selection of test articles. I was very pleased that the feedback was \ud83d\ude0a consistently positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the parts are currently still in development, I would like to keep the suspense high and not reveal anything yet... \ud83d\ude09 But in a very short time the time has come, the development is almost complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
