Many of you had also asked about the side windows for the Märklin models of the V100 (V100.10/BR211 and V100.20/BR212), which were already announced in issue 24 of Faszination Spur 1... At the start of my website, I was dissatisfied with the look, especially inside the driver's cab, and made improvements to refine the overall picture before it was released. In principle, I would first like to publish something that fully meets my quality standards.
Now the opening side windows are finished and tested. I'll write a manual for assembly, then they will go online with pictures. The front and side windows will also be offered as a set in the future.
When asked, I also turned to spare parts that were no longer available. Axle bearing covers for the Schwanenhals-bogies of Hübner's B4yg passenger cars will soon be available.
I am currently in the process of developing suitable reflector housings for various vehicles. The reflector housings and lamp rings for the V160/BR 218 from Märklin have already been completed and tested. I would like to express my gratitude to Gerald Thienel for the tests and information on this series!
However, I currently still have a few open projects that need to be completed – true-to-the-original fans with motor and fan box for the V100 and V200, front steps for freight cars, such as Ea cars, opening doors for open freight cars and new windows for the V160/BR218.
I will be happy to keep you up to date on the projects. Until then, I wish you good health and beautiful, sunny days 🙂
Best regards,
Thomas
