Description

That the V 200 is a legendary locomotive is basic knowledge for anyone interested in railways. However, that there are locomotives from this series which, in addition to possess extremely interesting CVs, belongs more to the category of „in-depth expertise“. The multifaceted career of the V 200 147 is both an obligation and an occasion for Montaperti Modelltechnik, this A machine with five carefully researched variants, a model-building monument. to set. They bring this long-lasting locomotive with its international stations back to life, thus telling the story of a V 200.1 that was and is much more than just a mere operating number among many.

With its delivery in mid-1965, V 200 147 was assigned to the BW Lübeck allocated to haul high-quality express trains in the direction of Denmark on the Vogelflug line. 15 years later – painted in ocean blue/beige since 1976 – it makes its way to the Bw Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck, to transport heavy ore, potash and steel trains from here. While the „Pott“ is the final destination for many of its kind, 221 147-2 ended up in the late 1980s Hellenic State Railways (OSE). There, from Athens, she pulls all types of trains under the designation A 416, before being brought back to her old home in 2002. From 2008 onwards, she belongs to the fleet as D 20. Bentheimer Railway, eventually for Leipzig from 2020 to the present day FLEX Rail Services GmbH to transport goods trains all over the world with its old operating number 221 147-2 and approvals for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and the Netherlands.
