New products and instructions in the shop

Hello friends of model building!

As announced in the last post, new products have now found their way into the shop. These are as follows:

  • Other variants of the Reichsbahn lanterns, each without LED, equipped with warm white LED or equipped with warm white and red LED
    • Reichsbahn lantern without chimney, with open base, on a high pedestal with bracket in DB variant
    • Reichsbahn lantern without chimney, with open base, on a high pedestal with bracket in DR variant
    • Reichsbahn lantern with rectangular chimney, with open base, on high pedestal with bracket in DB variant
    • Reichsbahn lantern with rectangular chimney, with open base, on high pedestal with bracket in DR variant
  • In addition, a variant of the Reichsbahn lantern on a signal support, which is attached, for example, to the tender of the BR 94 or to towing tenders of the type 2 2´T34
  • The peak lighting for the BR 218/V160 from Märklin as a replacement for the original fibre optic lighting
  • A set of side windows for the BR 211/212/V100 from Märklin, suitable for all models. The middle pane can still be moved after installation
  • A set consisting of all windows for the driver's cab of the BR 211/212/V100
  • A new category of add-on parts for passenger cars. Here, the axle bearing covers for Schwanenhals-bogies of the B4yg passenger cars from Hübner are currently offered as spare parts
  • In the area of freight wagons, there will now be ascent steps for open freight wagons, such as those attached to the Eas/Eal/OOr(u) types

The side and front windows have undergone a small update. They are now equipped with a collar in the interior, which covers the space between the frames and the housing and also provides a prototypical effect. Pictures can be found at the respective products.

Currently, further instructions for the products are being created, but this is relatively time-consuming and takes some time. For those of you who do not yet have instructions for the purchased products, please feel free to contact me and I will explain to you how you should handle and install the products until the instructions are completed.

In addition, I have started an experiment in which I ask you for feedback. I have set up a Youtube channel and a first instructional video on how to remove the support structures using the example of the side windows. The video can be found on my website in the Instructions section as a link, but you can also access it directly via this link: https://youtu.be/pGZEaQsIAi0

Feel free to let me know what you think about the video. Is it helpful for you? Is the content enough or would you like more information? Does the format fit like that or should I change something? And is it easy to see what I'm demonstrating there? I look forward to your feedback, which may also be critical.

Thank you in advance and a steady hand for model making!

Best regards,

Thomas
